General recommendation is to always setup an SSL Certificate on your server and keep using encrypted HTTPS on your Website. Other than the security aspects, all search engines give importance when the site always answer in HTTPS.

Most of Internet Browsers gives a warning when your website does not have a valid SSL Certificate and not answering with HTTPS.

  1. Buy an SSL Certificate
  2. Ask your IT Expert to Setup the SSL Certificate on your Web Server
  3. Update your Website to use HTTPS URLs instead HTTP for all ressources (css files, js files, images, other files)
  4. You can force your Web Server to redirect all HTTP request to HTTPS.
